Nurses Technology Innovation Competition

Do you have a concept for a technological innovation that could improve patient safety or experience, and free up your time to care? Have you ever thought about pitching your ideas to Software Developers, Business partners, and Chief Nursing Information Officers from across the globe?

If so, then we have the competition for you:

Nursing Times presents the Nurses Technology Innovation Competition 2023 at the Nursing Times Digital Forum. We are looking for nurses and midwifes (individuals or small teams) with bold ideas on how to improve the patient journey or staff experience with technology.

Nurses are well-placed to recognise the practical challenges that exist in wards, clinics, and a diverse range of community settings. Care leaders often have multiple ideas on how to improve services, systems and processes and deliver better care.

Within this competition, we welcome applications from registered nurses and midwifes who work in all sectors of healthcare whether its NHS (or other National Health Services), GP practices, private, 3rd/voluntary, social care, prisons, education and others, to share their solutions with a panel of industry and digital experts.

Winners’ rewards:

  • Florence Nightingale Foundation mentorship: Florence Nightingale Foundation are pleased to offer mentorship to the Nursing Times Digital Technology Innovation Competition winners. This will be provided by FNF Digital Scholar Alumni who are talented and transformational senior digital health leaders
  • An invite to the Nursing Times Workforce Summit & Awards on 21st November in Central London, where they will be given an award
  • The opportunity to present their projects to a wider audience at the Workforce Summit Online event on 15th November
