Innovation Competition Programme - Rules and Prizes

1. Online entries:

Please submit your entry via our website by Monday, 12 September. In no more than 1000 words, please explain how your idea unlocks one (or more of the following): more capacity to cope with service demand, improves the patient experience, uses existing technologies to improve patient flow and frees up staff time. Entries should also be available and prepared to present their ideas on the event day 5th October, if successfully shortlisted.

2. Shortlisting :

Entries will be judged from online discussion between the judges and a score between 1-10, 1 being did not met and 10 having fully met the following criteria:

• Innovation

• Value

• Adaptability

• Leadership

• Collaboration

Judges will be looking for innovation that can even be simple changes but raises the bar of best practice and is evidenced by data, testimonials or patient feedback.

3. Live pitches :

Three finalists will be chosen to make our shortlist and invited to present your idea as part of the main Digital Forum programme. The shortlist should create an 8-10-minute presentation that will be followed by 10 minutes of questions from the judges. Presentations will be in front of the event audience, giving you a great opportunity to raise the profile of your work in a room full of nurse innovators.

4. Winner :

The winning entry will then be announced at the end of the conference.

Runner ups (2nd and 3rd) : Any one of the following Innovation and Entrepreneurship Courses
